The Scotsman gets a free trip to the fortune teller as a reward. He comes. After double-checking that he doesn't have to pay anything, he offers his hand to the fortune teller.
She looks at his palm for a while and finally says:
"If you buy a basic ticket in the state lottery, you'll win the main prize."
"Oh, of course," the Scotsman exclaims, "I knew you were going to try to get some money out of me."
